Privacy policy
Stackedout is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For questions or a request about your information, contact jamie@stackedout.ai.
When you book or get in touch
We use the contact details, appointment choice and information you submit to arrange your call, reply to your enquiry and discuss the support you asked about. Please don’t send passwords, customer records or confidential job documents when booking or sending an enquiry.
We use this information to take steps you request before a service agreement, or for our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and running the website securely.
Resource requests
We use your email address and any name you provide to record your request and give you access to the resources. Email is required for access; your first name is optional. This is part of providing the resource you request.
The form separately asks whether you want daily business tips and offers. This is optional and based on your consent. Leaving it unticked does not stop you getting access. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email.
If you allow optional website measurement and then send an enquiry, request a resource or book a call, recognised source and campaign categories are also passed to the enquiry form, resource form or booking calendar. The provider can record those categories when you submit your request. Turning measurement off prevents this campaign information being added to future requests. It does not remove a request already submitted; contact us to discuss that record.
Your calculator and toolkit entries
Figures entered into the calculator stay in your browser and are not sent to Stackedout. Where browser storage is available, they remain there until you reset the calculator or clear that storage. Reset restores the example figures. Downloaded copies have separate browser storage behaviour.
The admin toolkit does not send or save your entries. Closing or reloading it can lose your work. Print or save a PDF before closing it if you need a copy.
A resource-access cookie lasts up to 30 days so you can reopen the tools without submitting the form again. It contains an access token, not your email address or calculator figures. A separate cookie, lasting up to 30 minutes, remembers which guide you requested so the form can return you to it. It is cleared after the resource is unlocked.
Optional website measurement
If you allow measurement, we count page views, booking-button clicks, email-link clicks and resource actions. We also record a browser loading-time sample and a broad mobile or desktop category, where the browser supports it. This helps us find slow pages. We record the public page path, a broad source such as Google or social media, and recognised resource and campaign categories. We discard other campaign values rather than storing arbitrary text. These event records do not include your name, email, IP address, calculator amounts, full referring address or arbitrary query-string contents.
Your choice is saved for six months. With your permission, traffic-source and recognised campaign categories are kept for the browser session. Choose Privacy choices at the bottom of the page to change your mind. Turning measurement off stops future events and clears those saved categories. Resource actions measure clicks on access and download links. They do not prove a completed signup, successful download or confirmed booking, and they are not records of individual customers. The event records are stored for three months.
Who processes information for us
We use providers for website hosting, security, enquiries, booking, resource forms, email and customer records. Loading an external booking calendar or form connects your browser to that provider, which can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Submitted details are stored in our Stackedout account.
Providers may process information outside the UK. Their data-processing terms describe the safeguards for international transfers, including standard contractual clauses and the UK transfer addendum where applicable. You can read the booking and resource-form provider’s data-processing terms and the hosting provider’s data-processing terms, or ask us for more information.
We do not sell your contact information. We have not installed advertising pixels on this website. Providers still process technical connection information to deliver and protect their services.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry, booking and resource-request records while they are needed to handle your request, manage an ongoing relationship or resolve a relevant query or dispute. When deciding whether a record is still needed, we consider the last contact, whether the work or request is complete, your current preferences and any legal obligation to retain it.
If you withdraw marketing consent, we stop that use. We may retain the minimum record needed to respect your preference. Cookie and local-storage durations are explained above. Contact us if you want to know what we hold or request deletion.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for optional uses. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew it.
We do not use these website records to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. You can raise a concern with us or complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
